HOMEPAGE REDUX

I started a homepage back in 1996, with a little help from Buzz (http://www.collegeteacher.org/classes/user/view.php?id=1965&course=1), one HTML book, and about 3 days away from lab work. In its heyday, my "Flashback to the Seventies" page (http://www.chem.ucla.edu/~wong/flashback.html) got many hits originating from the AltaVista search engine (pre-Google), and was also listed as one of "Rosie's Favorite Links" on Rosie O'Donnell's homepage. But, as the grad school years trickled on, and my professor cracked the whip, the page died a slow death from lack of updates.

Fast forward ten years, and blogs seem to have won more appeal than personal homepages. How fortunate that I have forgotten all the HTML tags. So to here I have evolved, opening the doors of a new "web log".
